Hi, I’m Taylor! I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I grew up in a diverse community that cultivated my curiosity and desire to learn. Shortly after graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso (Go Miners), I moved to Dallas where I have lived for the last 15 years. During my years in the Dallas area, I have lived in both the city and the suburbs, giving me a unique personal understanding of local neighborhoods.

I originally started my real estate career in apartment locating, and used that opportunity to further my knowledge of the DFW market and foster my passion for helping others find a place to call home. I strive to build lasting relationships with my clients by educating and advocating for them through the buying/selling process.

I aspire to live a life of honesty and integrity, in passionate pursuit of my goals. In my free time, I enjoys writing, creating flower arrangements, dancing and being active but – most importantly – going on adventures with my rescue pups!

What is your favorite season?

My favorite season is Halloween Season, duh! There’s nothing better than endless treats, dressing up & scaring people!

In the summer of 2021, I became a father to my beautiful daughter, Indigo June. Being a father has shaped my focus in everything I do, from how I spend my free time to my career. Fatherhood led me to get my real estate license in early 2021 and made the jump to betting on myself! 

My primary goals in real estate are to connect with people, build relationships, and bridge the gap from where someone is now to where they call home! I treat each interaction with a client as an opportunity to provide world-class service by getting to know them personally and not only what they are looking for in a home. The knowledge I gain from building these relationships gives me the platform to provide a list of options that precisely matches what they need and want in their next home.

Did you work in any other industry before real estate?

I have done an array of different things over my professional career, from children’s ministry at church to delivering sandwiches at Jimmy Johns, where the Hunter Club with double cheese is still my go-to! I recently was a leasing manager at a community in Uptown, so my knowledge of the leasing process made the transition easy.

Do you have any hobbies outside of real estate?

I love spending time with my family, not to sound cliche, but it is the reason I work as hard as I do. What would be the point if it were not to enhance my time with them! When I do have alone time, I love to play basketball or play video games. As a PlayStation-only gamer, I made the switch and built a PC at the end of 2020. It quite literally has been a game-changer!

Never in a million years did I think that I would ever work in real estate! After graduating from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, I followed my dreams and went on tour as a singer-songwriter. I had the opportunity to open for some popular bands and artists such as OneRepublic, Dashboard Confessional, and Hanson. Still, I was quickly humbled when I got stuck on tour in middle-of-nowhere Vermont with only $7 in my bank account. I had to busk on the side of the road and scrape enough money together in order to make it to NYC for the next show. The time had come for me to cash in on my degree, so I moved to Baltimore for a corporate job in finance, realized the cube life wasn’t for me and moved to Australia, where I was mentored by the man who helped start Google Australia. My experience in Sydney helped shape my worldview, and I quickly learned that my strengths were working with people, problem-solving, and strategically scaling companies.

After moving back to the states, I landed a role in the security industry that brought me to Dallas in 2013. I went on to become an executive at a budding startup in the medical field and then pursued a career in real estate to help build another apartment locating company. This is where I eventually convinced Christopher and Mikala to join me. After working there for over two years, Christopher, Mikala, and I decided to branch off and create a company focused on providing the highest level of service to our clients and creating a great work environment for our agents and employees. When Christopher and Mikala asked me to help build The Realm Agency, I didn’t hesitate to accept the offer and haven’t looked back since.

Do you have any hobbies outside of real estate?

Music will always be a major part of my soul. Writing music for me is therapeutic and challenging all in one. It’s been the main constant in my life since I was 14 years old. When life gets too chaotic, I will always find a home at my piano. If I’m not feeling creative, you’ll either find me on the sticks playing video games or staying in touch with friends.

What makes your style of work unique?

This answer is two-fold. The most important quality to possess, especially in the sales world, is actually to care about the human you are serving and to focus on solving their problems. The most underrated personality trait in business is kindness. Caring and kindness will take you so much further than trying to make a quick buck.

Time is your most valuable resource. It is important to work efficiently and be smart with how you attack your work. However, that should never replace your effort since that is the one variable you have complete control over. Working hard and constantly striving to learn more will set you apart from the rest. You’ll never meet a successful business owner, musician, or athlete who said they didn’t work their ass off to get there.

Hey, it’s Kait! I never expected to be in Dallas this long, but here I am! After becoming best friends with my apartment locator in 2016, I was always encouraged to join the business. I have spent the last decade in retail management and visual merchandising, and as someone who is fueled by creative, fast-paced environments and fun people, this led to an easy transition into real estate because I was able to mesh originality and creativity with my passions for business and relationships. I’m a people pleaser to the core, which makes the work I do for my clients enjoyable, easy, and successful! The most important aspects of my life are creating and fostering relationships, traveling (27 countries and counting!), and anything/everything endorphin boosting.

Do you have any hobbies outside of real estate?

Is coffee a hobby?! My obsession with over-caffeination is how I make my magic happen. You can usually find me posted up in the corner of any local Dallas coffee shop, workin’ and sippin’, sippin’ and workin’. My after-hours and weekends involve cats, tatts, and yoga mats. My confidant and bestie is a sweet floof named Gigi, so be sure to peep the cuteness at @gigi_vieve on social media. She makes for a terrible personal assistant but excels at keeping up morale. Though my mom would not consider this a hobby, I single-handedly love keeping my local tattoo artists in business. Send me your recommendations and I will send you mine! Name your #1 tip for anyone new to Dallas-Fort Worth

Get out and do things! DFW is full of ever-evolving events for ANYTHING that piques your interests. My go-to for exploring and finding friends? Concerts! My first event when I moved to the city was checking out the local concert scene; I’ve met the artists, made new friends, and curated an eclectic taste of music.

Hi, hi, I’m Uroosa! Like every other millennial, I have changed career paths a million times before finally landing on what I love: real estate!

Initially, I pursued real estate as a side hustle while working my 9-5 but quickly realized that this is where my passions of meeting new people, pushing myself, and helping others all intersect- and that this is what I wanted to invest all my time and effort in.

What is one thing you hope all of your clients see in you?

I hope that all of my clients walk away from me knowing that I gave them my all. After fighting stage 4 stomach cancer for the last 1.5 years, one of the biggest lessons I learned was to live with a renewed sense of intentionality. I wake up every morning with the intention of living and loving unconditionally, working hard to accomplish my goals, and pushing myself further than the day before.

What makes your style of work unique?

I genuinely love what I do and will work my ass off for you. As a first-generation Pakistani American, I grew up watching my parents leave everything they had and everyone they loved to come to this country, all so they could give us a better life. We truly started from the bottom, and now we are here. Regardless of your budget, style, and circumstances- everyone deserves a place to call home.

Before real estate, I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice at Texas State University. I lived in Austin, Texas, for about 5 years, then I decided to go back home to my roots. I took a year off to spend time with my family that I never got to see (because Italian grandmothers don’t let you forget when you don’t go see them enough)! When I came back, I started working in the home remodeling and renovation industry, but it felt more like a hobby than a career. Amidst a lot of uncertainty, an old friend reached out and told me about apartment locating. I had never heard of it, but I was sold once I learned about it. My two favorite hobbies became one: helping people and finding amazing homes for them. Dedicating this job as my full-time commitment and profession has been one of the best choices I’ve ever made in my life.

I remember thinking when I was just a kid, “I wish everyone could have a place to go to that they love this much.” Those words have stuck with me from the time I was running barefoot by the lake to now, as I run in heels from apartment to apartment, ensuring my clients receive just that – “a home that feels like home.”

When I’m not helping my clients, family, and friends with apartment locating, you can catch me cuddling with my dog, Nyxie, drawing or decorating, watching my Steelers or Longhorns play, or dancing my way through the bars of Dallas! I also love to eat, namely Italian food and street tacos. So let’s go grab a beer, a taco, and find you your next dream apartment!

What is your favorite animal?

My favorite animal is my 111 lb. Anatolian Shepherd mix daughter dog, Nyxie (named after the one and only, Stevie Nicks). But other than her, I absolutely love dogs and horses. My dream is to one day have a big farm/animal sanctuary of sorts and give love to all the animals I possibly can! They deserve all the love, hugs, and kisses!

What is your favorite season?

THE FALL! I absolutely love the Fall. The weather, the food, the holidays, the bonfires, the decor, the gatherings, and yes, the pumpkin spice everything. It’s all so exciting! I come from a large family of offensive and defensive linemen, so I am a huge football fan! Come August, you can find me fearlessly cheering on The Texas Longhorns, The Miami Hurricanes, and The Pittsburgh Steelers every chance I get! Alright, and the Cowboys here and there, but don’t tell my Steelers that!

What is your favorite thing about Dallas-Fort Worth?

There are so many activities going on, always! Being from a super small town in Iowa there wasn’t much to do, so coming to a big city and always having options of different things to do is so great!

If you could design a building, what features of the building would you focus on?

100% the balconies!! I would make sure every unit had a massive balcony to hang out on. One of my favorite things to do every morning is to take a cup of coffee and a good book out to my patio and read for 30 minutes.

I began my career in real estate by working as a leasing consultant and eventually moved on to selling new construction homes for a builder. Over time I realized that my favorite part of the industry was matching each client with the perfect home for them, which led me to apartment locating! I could genuinely provide each client with all their best options for the first time instead of being limited to just the one community I worked at. Providing that type of value to my clients is definitely the most rewarding part of my job and why I love what I do! 

Name your #1 tip for anyone new to Dallas-Fort Worth.

Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there and try new things! DFW has so much to offer, so there’s something out there for everyone! Be sure to check out different neighborhoods in the city because they all offer different vibes, and you want to get a feel of the experience before deciding where you ultimately want to live. 

What is one thing you hope all of your clients see in you?

I hope my clients see that I’m always happy to help! There’s nothing you can’t tell me that pertains to your living situation, the more information I know, the easier it is to help. Plus, I love a challenge, so I hope they feel free to pick my brain because I know the entire leasing process from start to finish, and there’s no such thing as a dumb question. Everything I do is based on what is best for my client, and since I’m not tied to any particular property, my ultimate goal is to find the absolute best option for their situation!
